Copenhagen

As some of you might have already recognized we were in Copenhagen last weekend and as I received several question about our lovely flat I thought its worth sharing here some of our experiences and recommendations.

As this was, for the two of us, not the first visit, we really had the time and the mood just to live in this versatile city for one weekend. We borrowed bikes and just stopped at the places we liked. For example:

  • Christiania

  • Meetpacking district

  • Fleamarket in Nørrebro

  • Shopping far away from rush and stress at elmegade

Sunday Fleamarket at Jægersborggade

What shall I say, inspiration around every corner. Obviously the common style was a mixture of vintage pieces and wild pattern like leopard, flowers, stripes and most of all dots. The whole style was completed with some massive "ugly" sneakers (New balance for example) in combination with glittering socks....a highlight piece. Although the style was quiet urban outfitter some sparkling colourful statement earrings or silk hairbands gave the whole look a glamorous finish.

It seems, that Mexican food and innovative pizzas are the new thing after burger and tapas! For sure we had to give it a try, and hopefully so do you!

Good to know:

  • Wallpaper City guide and Merian I can highly recommend

  • same as our super stylish flat at the border to Frederikssberg

  • and of course you need to rent bicycles, some pretty once we found just around the corner

  • Fil Bo Riva, a Folk and Indie musician from Berlin, we had the chance to listen to.
